Hi, due to repeated requests from users to make the lecture notes in downloadable format, I have decided to start posting the lecture notes in such a way. All of the video lecture notes made by me are published in free PDF format, however it may take me some time to get them updated. If you find that I have already updated my notes then its fine to use them.
This is only meant to help people who have missed the lecture notes and also those who cannot watch the whole lecture at one go.

Gloria Steinem's first book was published when she was only 25 and, as they say, the rest is history. The woman who would go on to change the world of feminism, revolutionise the media and redefine what it means to be a woman is born in 1933. An Introduction to Ethics is Gloria Steinem's collection of essays from the early '70s when she was still a student at Harvard University. It explores what it means to be a good person, what being a good person means to her and how her life and the world around her have changed over the last 30 years.
Steinem looks back and looks forward as an introduction to the ideas she will explore and champion throughout her life. One of her earliest pieces is an essay on the death of Mary Wollstonecraft and the philosophical thoughts she left behind. Then there's "The Uses of the Erotic," a piece that still has relevance in our current age. This is also the first time Steinem writes about feminism. Other pieces include "A Woman With Two Lives" about her childhood, "Sexuality and Feminism" about her first marriage and "On Love" about the men in her life. Here she shares the essence of being a real woman; a woman with heart, mind and power who isn't afraid to live life on her terms.
